Tax Accountant Intern

An American accounting firm looking to recruit tax intern candidate. This position is located in midtown Manhattan. If you are a hard worker and have a great personality, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
Work closely with team members to ensure a thorough completion of each client’s tax return
Assist the preparer in e-filing the returns
Assist the preparer to make corrections after the audits
Assist in preparation of clients’ financial statements, including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
Expect to quickly learn and fully utilize all of the systems and software necessary for tracking client status
Qualifications:

Working towards attaining an Associates or Bachelors degree.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
Experience working with Microsoft Office, strong proficiency in MS Excel
Working knowledge of Quickbooks
Excellent communication skills
